Addressing to the members of the praesidium of the NSZZ National Commission “Solidarność” headed by Piotr Duda and a delegation from the “International Center For Study of Phenomenon of Solidarność”, the Pope pointed out that the sign of openness to the Spirit of God is "an attitude of solidarity with people deprived of inalienable rights, which is manifested in various environments of study, work, social, economic, political and international relations."

The signing of the Act of creation MCBFS

Establishment of the MCBFS Scientific-Programmatic Council.
As part of the "Solidarity: from human dignity to transnational cooperation" Conference organized by MCBFS, they were nominated members of the Academic-Programmatic Council of the “International Center For Study of Phenomenon of Solidarność” from Poland, Italy, Spain, Chile, Hungary and Argentina, in order to develop studies on elementary standards of employment, compliance with the law, defence of workers against exploitation.

In the historic BHP hall of the Gdansk Shipyard in relation to the 40th anniversary of the first pilgrimage of John Paul II to his homeland was held a Scientific Conference "Awakens in us Solidarność: the 40th anniversary of the first pilgrimage of John Paul II to his native land". Representatives of the highest state authorities, headed by Prime Minister M. Morawiecki, were present. Was read a letter sent by President Andrzej Duda.

"Economy of Desire" International Conference
From June 17 to 25, 2017. In Granada took place, the sixth edition of the International Summer School and the International Conference "Economy of Desire" organized by the Institute of Philosophy Edith Stein (IFES) and the Pontifical University of John Paul II (Faculty of Philosophy), in cooperation with other institutions from Great Britain, United States, Poland and Spain and the Trade Union NSZZ "Solidarność" as an honorary co-organizer.
